We were tasked with utilizing the BCS website to communicate their unique service solutions. More importantly, BCS requested we bring the value of these unique services to the forefront of the user experience. While most competitors rely on multiple vendors for data management, BCS offers facility management, IT services, and professional services in-house, which reduces costs, risks and operational inefficiencies. The site needed to deliver an instant ah-ha moment of this value to visitors, resulting in conversion to a new sales lead.
In addition to the scope of services that competitors provide, BCS offers physical security. The security staff is crucial to the business model, so BCS puts a lot of emphasis on recruiting and retaining the right people. The site needed to not only allow candidates to easily find open positions but also allow them to gain a strong understanding of the company, position, and culture.
Overall, BCS asked for a website that allowed potential clients to effortlessly recognize the value they provided and potential employees to completely understand the organization through the use of imagery.
Integrating Interactive Elements
For our team, the key to success was organizing the content and establishing a flow to each of the content sections that was easily digestible for the reader. Keeping the user experience top of mind was crucial. It was also important to find the right balance of imagery and graphics. The MBB development team partnered with the creative team to visually show BCS solutions and services through graphics and interactive data center infographics.
For the development of this website, the team utilized WordPress for the content management system, allowing the client to keep the website updated easily by adding news posts and press releases. The website includes interactive elements like testimonial sliders, parallax background images, leadership modal windows, sticky secondary navigation bars and more. These interactive elements engage the visitors and help bring the BCS story to life.
Accurately Tracking Engagement
Through the use of Google Analytics, BCS is now able to accurately track KPIs such as time on site, bounce rate, page views, video views, and overall site engagement. In addition, they are able to track conversion of web visitors to new business leads and easily identify potential job candidates.
