May has started off right at MBB+! Last week, the earned media team and client Chinet, gathered at the Yale Club in New York City for the PR News’ Social Media Awards, where we were recognized for our recent work. The team enjoyed mingling with our industry peers at the luncheon showcasing the great work happening across all categories and social channels. We even had the chance to hear from keynote speaker and Dunkin’ Brand Chief Communications Officer, Karen Raskopf, on the future of social media.
At the ceremony, we received an honorable mention award for our community engagement strategy for the Chinet brand’s Facebook page. For years, MBB+ has been managing the Chinet brand’s online consumer experience, including social media strategy and community engagement. With Facebook being the main hub for the brand’s social media communication, we created a social media playbook developing and distributing channel-specific content, fostering audience engagement and driving website traffic. This has resulted in increased engagement rates, website sessions and email database signups.
It’s an exciting time in the world of social media and communications, and we left New York City feeling even more inspired to keep creating great work on behalf of our clients. Congrats to all the winners!
