Ronald McDonald House of Kansas City exists to reduce the burden of childhood illness on families—offering comfort, care, and a place to call home when it’s needed most. Each year, the MBB team rallies around this mission to ignite generosity across the Kansas City community.
In 2024, the theme The Light That Guides You Home honored the journey families face—one marked by unexpected turns and uncertain roads. In those darkest moments, RMHKC serves as a steady light: a hand to hold, a place to rest and a sense of home away from home. More than just a stop along the way, the houses become a refuge, a constant, and a source of strength.

The 2024 gala reflected our unwavering support—reminding families they are never alone and rallying a community to support them on their journey. Together, we raised a recording setting $1.2M.
