However, the manual process of generating quotes for truck and van configurations was prone to errors and too slow to meet the demands of their customers.
Identifying Opportunities for Optimization
Understanding the intricacies of their existing process was crucial for MBB to design and implement a digital solution that would streamline the quoting process and improve accuracy. The project began with a comprehensive on-site work session, during which MBB examined the current technical ecosystem and identified the specific pain points that needed to be addressed.
Methodically Approaching Process Mapping
With the pain points identified, we created detailed diagrams that mapped out the new technical process flow. These diagrams illustrated the integration of various systems and ensured that every aspect of the quoting process was covered. Using Adrian Steel’s Azure ADO instance, MBB wrote user stories that documented the front-end and back-end work required. These stories served as the blueprint for the development of the digital tool.

Our development team focused on creating both the user interface (UI) and the back-end systems that would drive the quoting process. Integrations were designed to ensure seamless communication between different systems, while data modeling provided a robust framework for managing complex information. Before the tool was launched, MBB conducted initial quality assurance (QA) tests and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), giving Adrian Steel confidence in the reliability of their new system.
