We’re looking for a Director of Business Development who knows how to hunt, hustle, and help build lasting client relationships. This role is critical to fueling our growth – both with new prospects and by deepening partnerships with current clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with MBB’s core capabilities and values.
- Develop, nurture, and close relationships with net-new prospects across a range of industries.
- Collaborate closely with account management teams to uncover and pursue organic growth opportunities with existing clients.
- Key stakeholder alongside internal departments to craft compelling, insight-driven proposals and scopes of work.
- Own the sales pipeline and report regularly on KPIs and progress toward revenue growth goals.
- Stay sharp on industry trends, competitive activity, and marketing innovations that could inspire new opportunities.
- Maintain CRM and reporting tools to ensure accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of business development or sales experience within a marketing, advertising, or similar environment.
- A proven track record of generating and closing new business, as well as growing existing client accounts.
- Comfortable navigating both high-level brand conversations and detailed scope negotiations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills – you know how to tailor your message to the room.
- Self-starter who can manage time, priorities, and pipeline independently.
- Collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in helping brands (and our agency) grow.
- Experience with CRM systems and a data-informed approach to sales performance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ideas-driven agency culture.
