MBB takes home two AMPs awards from the Social Media Club of Kansas City
When Facebook launched in 2004 as a college-student exclusive social network, 35% of our agency was too young to have an account. Less than four years later, a group of early adopters assembled to form the Social Media Club of Kansas City (SMCKC)—a group where marketing pros and social media enthusiasts could come together to collaborate on this ever-evolving platform. What was originally a monthly breakfast meeting at First Watch with five to ten active members has grown to a huge group of KC thought leaders, coming together many times throughout the year to learn from each other and celebrate great work.
This year, the SMCKC celebrated their 10th anniversary and recognized the great work of social media practitioners in Kansas City with its annual AMPs Awards. MBB took home two awards for our work for the Chinet® brand.
Visual Campaign: The Chinet® Brand’s Instagram and Pinterest Strategy
- MBB helped reinforce brand messaging on Pinterest and Instagram by leveraging visually appealing content that targeted core consumers during key holidays and occasions. The channel strategies and executions led to increased impressions and engagements year-over-year, exceeding both brand and industry benchmarks.
Integration with an Offline Campaign: “Inviting Results” 2017 Chinet® Brand Campaign
- MBB developed an integrated campaign rooted in social media activations to help build sustained awareness and engagement, and to deepen brand affinity with core consumers. Social media executions (organic and paid) increased impressions and engagements year-over-year and resulted in Facebook and Pinterest ranking in the top five for traffic referral sources to MyChinet.com.
