The Chinet® brand has been producing premium disposable tableware since the 1930s. Known primarily for its quality and durability, the Chinet® brand product lines have become the go-to entertaining choice for generations. For years, MBB+ has been managing the Chinet® brand’s online consumer experience, including social media strategy and community management.
MBB+ was tasked with developing an engaging social media execution to support the three-month brand campaign that encouraged people to get back to the true meaning of being social by showing just how strange it would be if online communication forms spilled over into real life situations.
Our strategy was to drive engagement and online conversation through relatable, easily digestible and highly shareable visual content. MBB+ developed six illustrated memes to show the disconnect between online and offline behaviors and to encourage people to get back to getting together in a humorous, light-hearted tone. Leveraging in-feed sponsored Facebook posts helped ensure that the memes reached a broader audience and further extended the conversation around the campaign.
