How do you showcase the effectiveness of a breakthrough orthopedic treatment designed to get patients back on their feet faster? For the University of Missouri Health System’s Missouri Orthopedic Institute (MOI), we leveraged inspiring patient stories to show just how quickly the BioJoint technique could get patients back to what they love. These stories included a soldier who injured his knee in Iraq and a college diver who returned to capture a conference championship.
Our integrated campaign message running on TV, in print, and online resonated with our target audience. In fact, over the course of the first several months of the campaign, MOI saw:

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission needed to stand out, to give patients something no other hospital system was offering: an easier way to find primary care physicians and schedule appointments.
Finding the right doctor can be a challenge. Through an algorithm-based, doctor-matching tool we helped consumers find a primary care physician who best aligns with their needs and values. From there, the online platform MyHealthKC.com was born.
Beyond the doctor-matching tool, we wanted AdventHealth Shawnee Mission to be known as the go-to resource for health and wellness in the community. Through guides, doctor-authored blogs, and healing-based content, we created true connections with our audience.

We created a branded product that quickly and effectively drives service line volume. CHI Health was created in 2014 when Alegent Creighton Health merged with CHI Nebraska to form a single system. Naturally, there were a lot of questions and concerns from the community as well as internal caregivers and staff.
To introduce the new system to the region, CHI Health launched a new mass media campaign. Just nine days in, however, disaster struck—CHI Health went out-of-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. The campaign was immediately pulled while the two organizations negotiated.
In 2016, after the insurance issue was resolved, CHI Health invited MBB to help them right a damaged public perception. Working closely with the CHI Health marketing team, we created a new system-wide brand campaign called “Imagine That,” which recast the system as a forward-thinking innovator that helps people live healthier, happier lives.
