Paid Media Supervisor

The role of a Paid Media Supervisor is to develop strategic recommendations that deliver results. You will help develop media plans and strategies, manage budgets, build and maintain positive relationships with media vendors and will coordinate with the internal team to ensure alignment on strategies and tactics. He or she should have a keen sense of detail and a passion for keeping up with trends across the media landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Ultimate responsibility for plan development: objectives, strategies, recommended tactics and the rationale for all assigned clients
  • Collaborates with other agency departments to build integrated go-to-market plans centered around a big idea
  • Creates client ready presentations that communicate thoughts in a succinct, easy to understand format
  • Leads client discussions and becomes a trusted resource for internal and external audiences
  • Provide analysis of reporting metrics with insights and implications
  • Manages and mentors junior team members in building technical and soft skills
  • Contributes to team training initiatives

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • An understanding of the various media vendors, their capabilities and how to use them to support client campaigns
  • Working knowledge and mastery of all elements of Digital Media (search, social, display, mobile, video etc)
  • Ability to work with deck-building software (PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with campaign strategy and management, ad serving technology, measurement and third-party tools etc.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability with emphasis on drawing inferences with data
  • Excellent relationship-building, management, and negotiation skills
  • A mastery of digital advertising concepts (behavioral, retargeting, etc.)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, media or applicable field

Experience

  • 5 or more years with demonstrated experience in creating and executing complex media strategies
